Encapsulated retinal results from a procedure that encapsulates the pure retinal molecules to control their release in the skin layers. Imagine it as a bubble carrying the retinol to the skin and gradually releasing it to the deepest skin layers. The bubble not only protects retinol from degradation (hence it doesn't break down as fast, having an increased shelf life), out it also makes retinol act more gently; encapsulation is an alternative method to help stabilize and overcome the irritating effects often associated with retinal.

How much retinol shoud I apply?

We recommend using a pea-sized amount, or just slightly more to cover your entire face. Apply the retinol cream to the back of your hand and then using your finger apply it to the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin-and then connect the dots by rubbing it in gently. You can also apply it to your neck, chest, and hands.
