Slow-release retinol is a form of vitamin A that is encapsulated in a protective layer of limpids or fatty acid molecules. This layer dissolves slowly over time, allowing the retinol to be absorbed by the skin more easily and deeply with minimal irritation.
Retinol is typically recommended to be applied on dry skin rather than damp skin. Applying retinol to damp skin can increase the risk of irritation and sensitivity, as well as create a barrier that hinders proper absorption. This results in reduced potency and effectiveness. It is best to apply retinol to dry skin after cleansing and drying your face thoroughly.
Yes - Retinol and Vitamin C can work exceptionally well together within your skincare routine. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps defend the skin from things like UV rays and pollution which can trigger pigmentation and prematurely break down collagen and elastin. Retinol helps lessen the appearance of dark marks on the skin, and it encourages more important proteins.
Voila Pure Advanced 2.5% retinol is suitable for daily use on all skin types, including those with sensitive skin. However, like all things in skincare, it's important to pay attention to what your skin needs. If you notice dryness, flaking, redness, or irritation, we recommend starting with a twice-weekly application, then increasing to every other day, and then every day.
We recommend using a pea-sized amount, or just slightly more to cover your entire face. Apply the retinol cream to the back of your hand and then using your finger apply it to the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin-and then connect the dots by rubbing it in gently. You can also apply it to your neck, chest, and hands.

I was introduced to this product by a friend her skin was glowing. I asked what she was using and it was this so I had to try. I wasn’t disappointed. You can use day and night no problem. Under makeup it’s perfect and leaves skin looking buttery soft. You won’t be disappointed. It’s clearer, softer well behaved skin. And for 51 it’s not too bad at all. I’ve now ordered the vitamin c.

I have been struggling with the red marks on my face that will not fade no matter what, until I tried this little miracle product!
For the past few weeks I have been using
Voila pure Advanced 2.5% retinal moisturiser, and it has made such an incredible difference to my skin! I find that my red marks left from spots tend to fade much faster, and stubborn red marks which wouldn’t budge on my face are now very light pink almost gone!
It is a day and night cream but I have been using it only at night as I don’t want to overload my skin, I think I will start using it in the day too to see if it has better results.
I was scared that rattle would irritate my skin or dry it out, but this screen doesn’t at all! It is so moisturising and gives me a lovely nighttime glow!

A very good moisturiser it will be on my list for reordering at some point in the future.
I’m currently using it, it’s a great all rounder doesn’t leave my face greasy.
My fine lines look less noticeable around my eyes.
Easy coverage and Use through the pump action container.
I tend to mix up my moisturisers and use different brands alternatively hence it’ll be on my future go to list.
I’d recommend it’s a good value quality product.

This is an absolutely delightful Retinol moisturiser, it’s super gentle so I had no issues with peeling after use.
It absorbs really nicely which makes it a pleasure to apply. I have also noticed a positive effect on my fine lines and wrinkles.
The dispenser is great because it’s far more hygienic to use than dipping your fingers in a tub.
