Applying retinol to damp skin can increase the risk of irritation and sensitivity, as well as create a barrier that hinders proper absorption. This results in reduced potency and effectiveness. It is best to apply retinol to dry skin after cleansing and drying your face thoroughly.

However, like all things in skincare, it's important to pay attention to what your skin needs. If you notice dryness, flaking, redness, or irritation, we recommend starting with a twice-weekly application, then increasing to every other day, and then every day.
We recommend using a pea-sized amount, or just slightly more to cover your entire face. Apply the retinol cream to the back of your hand and then using your finger apply it to the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin-and then connect the dots by rubbing it in gently. You can also apply it to your neck, chest, and hands.

Didn't expect this to work but I thought at least it would moisturise my brittle eyelashes. Amazed that after a couple of months my lashes literally twice as thick and when I wear mascara look like false eyelashes. First photo after 8 weeks of daily use.
